The Manitoba Water & Wastewater Association

Our Mission

The association is dedicated to environmental stewardship, protection of public health and advancement of water and wastewater professionals through training and educational opportunities.

Our Objectives

  • To advance the public awareness of the role of the members in protecting the environment and public health.
  • To plan and initiate or conduct a variety of educational opportunities suited to the needs and requirements of the members.
  • To communicate with the members of the association so as to determine their needs, and to insure that they are aware of the educational opportunities and programs being offered by the Association.
  • To promote activities through which funds may be raised to support the activities of the association.
  • To plan for the continued operation of the Association and it’s programs through the recruitment and training of volunteers.
  • To provide delegates to and support of the programs and policies of the Western Canada Water and Wastewater Association.
  • To promote the sharing of information between members

MWWA Official Charity - WaterAid Canada

MWWA has been supporting WaterAid Canada’s mission to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalized people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene for the past 7 years.  With access to clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, people are able to break free from poverty, children are born healthier and get a chance to go to school, women and men get to earn a living and whole communities start to thrive.

WaterAid is an international charitable organization, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation.
